When families begin looking for home care, they are not just comparing services.
They are placing their trust in the people behind the company.
They want to know who will be caring for their loved one, what values guide the business, and whether the people they are calling truly understand what this responsibility means.
For Angie Wold, owner of Symphony Senior Home Care, caregiving has always been personal.
As a locally owned home care agency serving the Twin Cities, Symphony was built on a simple belief: every senior deserves to be treated with dignity, compassion, and respect.
Growing Up in Greece: Where Angie’s Passion for Care Began
Angie was raised in a small village in Greece by her grandparents.
In her community, caring for older adults was simply part of life. Elders were respected, included, and cared for by their families.
Those early experiences shaped Angie’s understanding of what it means to care for someone with patience, kindness, and gratitude.
They also planted the seeds for the work she would one day do.
A Career Dedicated to Helping Others
After moving to Minnesota as a teenager, Angie built a career centered on helping others.
She began working in healthcare in 2007 as a home health aide and quickly discovered how meaningful it was to support older adults in the comfort of their own homes.
Over the years, Angie gained experience in caregiving and leadership while working closely with seniors and their families.
She saw firsthand how much trust families place in caregivers and how important it is to provide dependable, compassionate support.
Why Angie Purchased Symphony Senior Home Care
Angie joined Symphony Senior Home Care in 2017.
As she became more involved in the company, she knew she had found something special.
Symphony shared her belief that home care should feel personal, relationship-based, and centered around the unique needs of each family.
When the opportunity arose to purchase the business in 2022, Angie knew she wanted to continue and grow the mission of providing compassionate, personalized home care.
Today, she leads Symphony Senior Home Care alongside her son, Dimitri, and a dedicated team of caregivers who share her commitment to treating every client like family.
