I wanted to take a moment to share something really special for our team at Symphony Senior Home Care.
We were named a BBB Torch Award Finalist for Minnesota and North Dakota.
And honestly, it means more than I expected it to.
This One Felt Different
When we found out who else was in our category, I had one of those moments where you just kind of pause.
These are businesses that are doing things the right way. They care about people. They show up for their communities. They lead with integrity.
To be included in that group… it was a little surreal.

We Didn’t Win… and That’s Okay
We did not take home the award this year.
Of course, there is always that small part of you that wonders what that moment would feel like. I would be lying if I said I did not think about it.
But at the same time, being named a finalist already feels like a win.
Because it tells me something important. It tells me that the way we do things matters.
Why This Matters to Me
Symphony has never been about checking boxes or just providing a service.
This work is personal.
It is about families trying to make really hard decisions. It is about trust. It is about showing up for people during some of the most vulnerable times in their lives.
I have always believed if we treat people like they are our own family, everything else will follow.
This recognition just reminded me to keep doing exactly that.
What Comes Next
We are going to keep showing up.
For our clients. For our caregivers. For the families who trust us every single day.
We are going to keep giving back to the communities we serve and doing our best to lead with honesty, compassion, and integrity.
And yes… we will be back!
