If you or a loved one is receiving support through a county waiver, you can now receive in-home care from a trusted, local team—fully covered under your waiver plan.
While Symphony has always specialized in high-quality private pay home care, adding waiver services allows us to further support our community by making our compassionate care accessible to more families. This addition reflects our commitment to giving back and serving seniors across Minnesota with flexible care options.
What Are Waiver Services?
Waiver services are programs funded through Minnesota’s Medical Assistance (Medicaid) that help eligible individuals receive long-term care in the comfort of their own home, rather than moving into a nursing facility. These waivers are designed to support seniors and individuals with disabilities who need assistance with daily living but want to remain at home.
Common programs include:
- Elderly Waiver (EW)
- Community Access for Disability Inclusion (CADI)
- Brain Injury (BI) Waiver
- Alternative Care Program (AC)
These programs cover a variety of in-home care services, such as help with bathing, dressing, medication reminders, companionship, light housekeeping, and more.
